This is a pair of 1835 Henry Adams adjustable eyeglasses with original metal case. These glasses have a hinged lens on the inside and adjustable stems. The lens are clear. One lens is chipped. There is a replacement lens. The frames are made of pewter one measure 4 3/8" hinge to hinge, the other measures 4 1/4" inches hinge to hinge . The frame of the lenses measure 1 3/8" across, the lenses measure 1 " across and the bridge is 1 ". Stored in felt lined case for many years. The case measures 5 3/4" x 1 1/4" A sweet piece.
