Ironstone Platter Marked CP Co Dixie Chester Pottery Company 11 x 10
Phoenixville Pottery, Kaolin, and Fire Brick Company, Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. [Used by various companies from 1867 until about 1903.] "From 1892 to 1897 it was called Chester Pottery making cream-colored and semi-granite dinnerware." And under the Chester Pottery, she says "these [C.P.Co.] marks were used between 1895 and 1899."
This platter is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks or unusual ware.
